Are tariffs and supply chain uncertainties impacting your business and keeping you up at night? Make sure your voice is heard at our Town Hall Meeting! Registration for the 2025 State of the Trade and Transportation Industry Town Hall in Long Beach is now open.
This year's Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) State of the Trade and Transportation Industry Town Hall is entitled: "Port Town Resilience: Thriving in Uncertain Times.” The event will include a panel of experts who will discuss ways that Southern California supply chain stakeholders can, once again, unite to find ways to thrive in these unprecedented and uncertain times. Featured panelists include Noel Hacegaba, Chief Operating Officer of the Port of Long Beach, and Robert Loya, Chief Executive Officer of the Harbor Trucking Association. More panelists will be announced in the coming days. A live Q&A session will give you the chance to speak with our region's foremost global trade experts. Representatives from the Long Beach Small Business Development Center will also be in attendance.
“All across Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area, we have procurement professionals, inventory managers, domestic manufacturers, and people who put their heart and soul into a small business they built from the ground up. They’re stressed, they’re worried, and they aren’t sure what tomorrow will bring,” CITT Executive Director Tyler Reeb said. “The brute fact is that our community needs us – and we can and will deliver. At CITT, we have a suite of educational programs, we have research acumen, and we have an immense network of trade and transportation professionals. For over twenty years, CITT has put those resources to work for our community. This year's Town Hall will not only celebrate that legacy, but chart a course for the coming years.”
Port Town Resilience: Thriving in Uncertain Times will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:45 PM at the Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School Auditorium in West Long Beach. A reception will precede the event at 6:15 PM.
