The Study Tour in China for high school students is a two-week, annual Chinese language and culture experience program. The program provides an opportunity to experience Chinese culture first-hand. The program will provide students with Chinese language and culture classes, as well as sightseeing experiences in historical cities in China. Students will enjoy rich and varied activities, including eating traditional Chinese food, meeting Chinese students, experiencing homestays with local families, and more.
The College of Professional and Continuing Education at CSULB has hosted groups of high school students in China in 2017, 2018 and 2019, visiting the cities of Beijing, Xian, Chengde, and Qinhuangdao, traveling by the country’s famous High-Speed Rail line. Previous Study Tour in China students were left with deep impressions of both the traditional and modern aspects of China, from its bustling urban centers to its natural beauty. CSULB welcomes more young people to join this program and visit China in 2021.
