AutoCAD has become an indispensable tool for engineers, architects, and designers. This certificate program will bring you up to speed in AutoCAD 2023, the premiere computer-aided drafting package.
This comprehensive certificate program is an excellent way to learn AutoCAD and emphasizes hands-on, project-oriented learning, which translates into useful CAD learning for employment and/or re-training. Students are encouraged to select an actual real-world project from their place of employment, or one they would like to complete from their own personal choice. This project will be used as a foundation from which you will learn all of the AutoCAD skills to complete the project by the end of the program.
4.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided upon request as a permanent record of one's attendance, if requested by the last class meeting.
Schedule
This program is offered in an online hybrid format, with live lectures on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm (including an hour break at 12pm noon). During the week and before the online live lectures, students will be able access asynchronous online course materials to prepare themselves for the weekly live lectures.

Student Testimonials
Learning Autocad was a great experience. Being a high school student, it was good that no engineering background was required, however I gained insight on the field of engineering through the various lessons and examples in the workbook. I enjoyed learning the software and further solidified my career aspirations through the hands-on experience.

By completing the AutoCAD Certificate Program, I now have the confidence to practice and discuss AutoCAD with even the most experienced CAD professionals. Further, the credentials of the certificate program have shown my employer that I am well qualified in this very important design technology. This program provides a solid foundation in AutoCAD skills for both newbies as well as seasoned design professionals. The breadth of students in my class ranged from college-level engineering students with no professional experience, to experienced architects, engineers and other designers with decades of work experience. All left the program with superior AutoCAD skills. The AutoCAD Certificate Program provides students with an accelerated program that results in mastery of AutoCAD skills.

Between being a father and working full-time, I thought I'd never find time to further my education. But, the staff at CPIE made it all possible. From the enrollment process to the final day of class, they made it as hassle free as ever. From day one Robin Searle was there by phone and email to answer all my questions and always responded very quickly. My instructor, Robert, was not only knowledgeable, professional, and funny; but made learning the AutoCAD program fun while making time for each person in the class to ensure that they were on par with the rest. This is definitely one of the best decisions I have made in a while and I am grateful for the effort they put into the students. Also with class being on Sundays, it was perfect for working adults/parents or even people in college during the week. I HIGHLY recommend this school and give huge kudos to the staff for making it a great experience. Thank you CPIE!
